‘Diamond’s are a girl’s best friend’ (so sang Marilyn). Well they’re sadly not my best friend as when I was informed of a new event, taking place in London’s Hatton Garden, educating ladies on the Four C’s I’m afraid to say I had to look them up (for others that aren’t so friendly with diamonds they are cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight)!
But that is exactly the reason for Rocks & Chocs… to better acquaint ladies with the diamond! The event, aimed at women with weddings on the brain, is a great way to get the girls together and try on some stunning jewellery in a relaxed environment, all the while learning about what to look for when purchasing your own rocks.
Pearls & pendants
You’ll be able to discuss engagement rings and wedding bands, pearls and pendants and even an exclusive range of black diamond jewellery with the Star Jewellers’ team who have over 100 years combined experience in the business.
Those engaged will be able to consider jewellery for the wedding and those not yet engaged will be fully equipped to go home and drop massive hints to the fella as to what to look for when buying that diamond engagement ring!
Champagne & chocolate
And the best bit? Not only is this event free but it also comes with a few glasses of bubbly and hand-made luxury chocolate courtesy of Kirsty Joly!
Now, indulging in champagne, chocolates and diamonds, sadly, isn’t normal life for most of us so why not get yourself to this event and enjoy a night of luxury. Get your bridesmaids to go along with you and you’ll be able to discuss your wedding plans so far too.
The events will be taking place at Star Jewellers in Hatton Garden throughout the summer and guest appearances from professional wedding make-up artists and wedding planners are also planned so it’s well worth contacting the event organisers for more information.
In fact, the only problem I can see with this event is that it’s in London and so I can’t go!
