Bridal style ♥ Kitty & Dulcie

For today’s bridal style I want to show you the gorgeous creations of Kitty & Dulcie.

Kitty & Dulcie are the names of two lovely ladies that shared a passion for dressmaking during the war, when money and materials were hard to come by. This didn’t stop them making beautiful dresses however and now, years later, their granddaughters Kirstie (head designer of Flo & Percy) and Shelley (beauty writer for many a fashion mag) similarly create beautiful dresses for brides on a budget.

Winter Wonderful

BHLDN can do no wrong. Everything they create is bloomin’ gorgeous and their latest ‘Winter’s Bride’ range definitely follows suit.

Fittingly shot in a winter wonderland setting, these dresses would look beyond beautiful on a cold winter’s day…

BHLDN are back!

So BHLDN have added new dresses to their existing line and, yep, they’re amazing. So, of course I have to put them on this blog because I love to collect pretty pictures. And I love to share them with you lot too. I’m a big fan of the first one; the scalloped hem with the tulle peeking out from underneath is so pretty. The model’s hair is definitely not how I’d wear my hair on the day, but the dress? Beautiful…

Loving that last dress too. The embroidery on the sheer top and line of silk buttons decorating the back are both stunning. Anybody want one of these for wedding day?

Bridal style : Novia d’Art

There are a LOT of wedding dresses out there. And a lot of them are so similar that when I see something that’s a little different I’m drawn to it. Novia d’Art is the recent bridal collection that caught my eye. They have dresses that cater for that classic bridal look but they also have some that are a little different without being so outrageous that you can’t imagine ever wearing them!

Minna

Minna is a company that every bride looking for adorable and affordable wedding attire needs to know about! The dresses are not only beautiful but they’re also a fab find for the bride on a budget. And there’s more; they are created using environmentally friendly techniques and shipping is free worldwide!

Finnish designer Minna Hepburn launched her gorgeous range in 2008 by creating tops, in her home in the Dorset countryside, and stocking them in a few boutiques. Now she creates all manor of items and stocks them in shops worldwide. Her Wedding Collection officially launches next month and with creations like these it’s no wonder her label is such a success…

What I also love about Minna is that the dresses can be personalised with embroidery; you could add your wedding date to the dress, a sentence from a poem or anything else that has particular significance… it’s all about the details.

Make a statement

Minna also creates fabulous statement jewellery that I think would look amazing with a simple wedding dress. An inexpensive gown could be made to look luxurious with the addition of one of these…
