For some, weddings are seating plans and gift lists, the dress and shoes that match the decor. But what if you don’t want any of that, what if you just want to get married? Well you can. When I stumbled across Elsa & Tyler’s wedding on a recent Google adventure I was completely bowled over by just how simple and sweet it was; an excellent example of how to have a small but perfectly formed wedding.
Elsa & Tyler got married in a woodland with only eight guests present, and even one of them was a dog. Afterwards they celebrated with their guests by shucking and barbecuing corn, eating red velvet cakes out of jars, being serenaded by guitars and drinking beer. With a few little DIY decor details thrown in such as the garland and the bunting and with a wedding pie instead of a wedding cake this beautiful big day has to go down as one of my all time favourites…
Wow right?! And not only did I find a wedding I loved but I also discovered a fantastic photographer in Kim Miller. Have spent a good portion of the day drooling over her work :)

Amazing wedding!! I love the simplicity of this ceremony.
Gorgeous wedding. A couple that really took the KISS concept and ran with it, what a great idea. :)
