Oh I want a campervan so badly! This next shoot by Aubrey Joy just cemented that fact. And I will definitely need a string of coloured lights with that camper van now! Here’s the beautiful story behind this beautiful shoot…
Stephen has had a big hearted notion about kicking around the U.S for a few years in some amazing VW bus. His dream is to be foot loose and fancy free with his honey by his side. Well his girl Britney is about to leave for school overseas for a few months and she didn’t want to leave with out showing Steve that his dreams were hers as well. She rented this kick-ass bus from a nice guy on CL and decorated it with vintage christmas lights. She surprised Steve by bringing their longboards down a trail lit by glow sticks… and then gave him presents and serenaded him with some guitar tunes… giving him a little sneaky peeky of what their great adventures could look like. Well if that is not the most creative Christmas present, I don’t know what is! I hope he feels loved. I helped Brit with the big surprise, so I couldn’t help snapping a few shots!
How adorable is that story! And how romantic is this shoot! Perhaps not for everyone, but for me it would be a dream to have a campervan and roam the world for a while in it. The only thing I’d change is the man would be holding the guitar :)

Awwwwwwe! My fiance Brian and I have a VW camper van! Not the ‘v’ nose, sadly – but a ‘newer’ 1985 one. Still has the round headlights though, and all the personality that any good VW has. Her name is Ziggy.
Anyway, just wanted to say I love these photos, they made my heart go all gooey, and I sent this link to my man to brighten the middle of his long boring day of work!
Absolutely amazing. I often daydream about a campervan moment just like this… Nearest we’ll get is hiring for a long weekend in the Lake District. Doubt our photoshoot will b half as adorable as this though! X
