I’ve said before how I like lights and so it was pretty easy to fall in love with Hebden Bridge-based designer Hannah Nunn’s work. Her papercuts began as greetings cards, sold at prestigious outlets like Liberty’s, Harrods and Paperchase. But after enjoying the way the pieces created silhouettes when held up to the light Hannah’s process evolved and she now creates the most lovely lit pieces.
Strings of pretty
My absolute favourites I think would have to be the fairy lights. Because, well, the more lights the better! But also, as Hannah can create custom pieces I love the idea of having the bride and groom’s names on a set to string up above your top table in a romantically-lit reception venue. Or even to incorporate in some sort of ceremony canopy at a night-time wedding.
They wouldn’t be the cheapest decoration accessory you could buy but they would then take pride of place in your home so it would be a great investment!
Lovely lamps & pretty panels
Hannah also makes stunning lamps and wall panels that would make a great wedding gift (or just general gift to yourself)…

And despite these lights being gorgeous enough on their own, Hannah decided to create a shop full of lights from other designers too. Radiance is one shop I really want to go to!
Debs
P.S. All Hannah’s creativity seems to have rubbed off on her daughter Ffion too! Ffion’s been collecting photographers images that represent ‘a pause, somewhere in between breathing out and breathing in’ and these can be now found in her stunning new book A Stop. What an inspiring family!

I have 7 of Hannah’s lovely lamps lighting up my home and 1 Colin Chetwood I bought at Radiance just a few doors down from Heart Gallery. If you visit Hebden Bridge then a visit to Market Street is a must, Hannah’s new shop just glows xXx
My mum has her eye on one now. Hard choosing out of all the gorgeous designs though. Perhaps that’s why you have seven! : ) I’m not too far from Hebden Bridge so I must visit Radiance and the Heart Gallery too – looks lovely!
